Legal pages have a way of drifting from the product they describe. We went back through ours and pulled them back in line with exactly what CoinLAB does today — no more, no less.
Since the Pack and Boutique opened, you can spend credits on a strategy card — but the Terms never said so. They do now: a card is bought with credits, one free card waits each day, and a card purchase is final and non-refundable, exactly as the buy screen tells you. A card's grade is a backtest score, never a promise of profit — and a strategy can be retired if its live record weakens.
The Privacy page now names everything we actually keep: the login session cookie, the small cookie that counts a signed-out backtest, the fact that — while you're signed in — we note your last visit, and that a message you send through Contact is stored so we can reply. It also says plainly that a member of the team may look at your account to help you. Your card number still never touches our servers — that's handled by Whop.
Most of all, the Disclaimer now says the thing that matters most: a card's “Since Launch” record is a forward simulation on real candles — not live trading, and no real orders. Signals can be delayed or missed. Leverage can liquidate a position in full. None of this is new behavior; it's just written down now, where you can read it.
Same principle as everywhere else on CoinLAB: we'd rather tell you the limits up front than dress them up.
