These are the simple rules for using CoinLAB. By using the site, you agree to them. CoinLAB is a tool for visualizing market data, backtesting strategy ideas, and delivering the signals of strategies you connect — it is information only, never financial advice.
By accessing or using CoinLAB, you agree to these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy policy and Disclaimer. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. You can browse freely without an account — signing in is entirely optional.
CoinLAB lets you run historical backtests of strategy ideas on public market data, and can forward the signals of strategies you connect to destinations you choose, such as Discord, Telegram, or a webhook. Everything on the site is for information and education only.
Nothing here is financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything. Backtest results are hypothetical, based on past data, and are not a prediction of future performance. Signals are notifications, not instructions: CoinLAB never places trades or touches an exchange account on your behalf. Any decision you make is your own. CoinLAB is a standardized tool — it works the same way for everyone, and nothing on it is tailored to your personal circumstances.
CoinLAB is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee that the data, calculations, or backtests are accurate, complete, current, or error-free, or that the site will always be available, secure, or uninterrupted.
Signal delivery also depends on third-party services — Discord, Telegram, push notifications, or your own webhook endpoint — and a signal may occasionally arrive late or not at all. Never rely on CoinLAB as your only trigger for action.
Market data is sourced from third parties such as Binance and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoinLAB and ChartLAB are not liable for any losses or damages — including any trading or investment losses — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or anything shown on it. You use CoinLAB entirely at your own risk.
CoinLAB is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or buy a paid plan.
If you sign in with Google, you're responsible for keeping your account secure and for the strategies and favorites saved under it.
Please don't misuse the site: no attempting to break, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or disrupt it, and no using it for unlawful purposes. We may limit or suspend access that abuses the service. If we suspend an account for abuse, any remaining paid time or credits on it are forfeited, not refunded.
Paid subscriptions are billed and refunded through our payment partner, Whop, and they renew automatically — monthly plans every month, annual plans every year — until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your Subscription page or in Whop, and cancelling stops the next charge. Because these are digital products that are delivered and usable immediately:
Monthly plans are non-refundable — cancelling simply stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the current period ends. Annual plans can end in two ways: cancelling in the app also just stops the renewal, and you keep full access until the end of the year you've paid for. If you'd rather stop now and get money back instead, ask us through the Contact page or via Whop — we'll end the plan then and refund the remaining unused months pro-rata.
You can switch plans at any time, up or down, monthly or annual. The new plan starts immediately, and the unused time on your old plan is converted into free days on the new one instead of a refund — nothing you've paid for is lost. Downgrading to Free simply stops the renewal, and you keep full access until the period you paid for ends.
Credits refill monthly and daily up to your plan's cap and have no cash value. Credits are non-refundable once used, and credits granted for free are never refundable. If you move to a smaller plan, free credits above the new plan's cap are trimmed to fit it — purchased credits are never trimmed.
Credit packs are one-time purchases delivered to your account instantly. Purchased credits don't expire for as long as CoinLAB operates and are not limited by your plan's cap, but they have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Once any part of a pack has been spent, that pack is non-refundable.
The free 14-day signal trial is offered once per account. Its clock starts the first time you connect a live signal line and doesn't pause or reset afterwards.
If a payment is later refunded or charged back, the access and credits it bought are removed from your account.
For any billing or refund request, use your purchase record in Whop or reach us through the Contact page.
Alongside subscriptions, CoinLAB lets you acquire individual strategy cards — a saved backtested strategy you can keep and connect to a live signal line. Cards are offered in a few places: the daily Pack (one free card each day, plus additional cards you can buy with credits), the Boutique (a curated shelf of paid cards, limited to one copy per member and sold first-come), and, later, an Auction.
Cards are purchased with credits, not cash, and every card purchase is final: once you spend credits on a card, that purchase — including the credits used — is non-refundable. Your free daily card carries no charge. A card's grade or rarity reflects its historical backtest score and is not a promise of profit (see our Disclaimer).
A strategy may be retired or stopped at any time — for example when its live (forward-simulated) performance weakens — after which it no longer updates. Cards you already own stay in your collection with their last recorded results.
The CoinLAB name, design, interface, and original content are part of ChartLAB and may not be copied or reused without permission. Public market data remains the property of its respective sources.
We may update these terms or the site itself at any time as the product evolves. Continuing to use CoinLAB after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
CoinLAB is an independent project, and like any project it may not run forever. If we ever shut it down, we'll give reasonable notice, and any unused paid subscription time will be refunded pro-rata.
