Pricing pages love to shout numbers; this one just explains what actually happens when you upgrade, step down, start a trial, or ask for your money back.
CoinLAB has one free tier and three paid ones. Free is for research — proving a strategy on historical data before you spend a dollar — and the paid plans add the thing Free can't: live signal delivery, plus more room to work. For the dollar figures, the pricing page always carries the current numbers; what follows is what those numbers actually buy.
Every paid tier raises the same set of dials. A signal line is one saved strategy wired to a destination — the count is how many can run live at once. Monthly credits are your backtest allowance, granted once a calendar month. Daily refills add a little more each day. And the saved-strategy shelf — how many cards My strategies holds — grows too. Signal lines / monthly credits / daily refills / saved cards, by plan: Free — / 10 / 3 / 5 · Basic 5 / 100 / 20 / 20 · Pro 10 / 200 / 40 / 40 · Premium 20 / 500 / 100 / 80.
New to the credit side? How Credits Work covers the wallet, the cap, and the two refill rhythms in full.
Change your mind whenever you like — a switch between two paid plans takes effect immediately, and the time you'd already paid for on the old plan doesn't burn. Its remaining unused value is converted into free days on the new plan, priced by the ratio between the two, so nothing you paid for is left on the table as you cross over.
Because it settles in free days rather than a cash refund, there's no wait and no clawback: you land on the new tier the moment you switch, with a run of prepaid days already stacked up. The conversion has a ceiling, but it sits well above any normal term — in practice you'll never touch it.
One thing to know when stepping down between paid plans: if the new plan allows fewer signal lines than you have connected, the extras are marked PAUSED — nothing is deleted — and they wake back up the moment your limit covers them again.
Stepping all the way down to Free is handled gently. It's scheduled as an end-of-period cancellation, not an instant cut — you keep the paid tier, every signal line and the fuller credit grant, until the term you already bought runs out, and only then does it stop renewing.
There's no rush and nothing to do at the moment you decide — you keep everything the paid tier gave you right up to the date it lapses, and only then settle back to Free's limits.
Signal delivery is the paid part of CoinLAB, but a new account gets to watch one run before paying a cent. The 14-day free signal trial starts the first time you connect a signal line — not the day you sign up — so the clock only begins once you're actually using it.
A few honest limits: it's once per account, and the start can't be reset, so connect your first signal when you're genuinely ready to watch it. When the 14 days are up, a paid plan keeps that signal running without a break; without one, live delivery pauses. The full walkthrough lives in From Backtest to Live Signals.
Refunds run through Whop, and the rules are meant to be read, not decoded:
The full terms are the last word: read the refund policy.
Plans and refunds are the clear part; the strategies themselves are not a sure thing. Everything a backtest or signal shows is hypothetical performance on past data — not a prediction, and nothing here is financial advice. Always do your own research.
