Room to Top Up

2026-07-10

The wallet fills a little each day and refills each month — but a hard afternoon in the Lab can still empty it out. So now there's more you can buy, and it never runs out on you.

There's a new Credits page, and it sells exactly three things — 100 credits for $10, 200 for $18 (the one most people reach for), and 500 for $40. Buy one and the credits land the moment it clears — no waiting for midnight, no waiting for the month to turn. You reach the page from the credit gauge in the PAGE menu — the same small bar that shows what you've got left.

Your wallet has a ceiling — the cap that daily and monthly credits build up toward. Top-up credits ignore it entirely. Drop a 200-pack onto a wallet that maxes at 600 and it simply sits at 800 — a 100-pack would leave it at 700, however high you stacked it. The cap only ever governed the free credits, never the ones you bought.

And they don't empty out at sunrise. The free credits come and go on their rhythms; these never expire — they wait in the wallet until the day you actually reach for them.

When you press Run, the wallet reaches for your free credits first and only touches a pack once those are gone — so the ones you paid for are the last to leave. A credit is still a credit: one run, one backtest, not a separate currency to keep track of.

Once a pack is used it's non-refundable, the way any spent credit has always been. And what a credit buys is a look at how a strategy would have behaved across real history — a study of the past, never a promise about the next trade. Top up whenever you're ready from the Credits page.
